Snow Summit located in the heart of gorgeous Big Bear Lake offers a fun, family friendly resort. Snow Summit contains its own personality and traits distinct to the snowboarding and skiing world that makes it a one of a kind, fun filled resort! Snow Summit offers a traditional mountain atmosphere with an abundance of intermediate terrain and mainstream cruising for all types of riders. If you’re new to shredding the snow, we have a solution: It’s never too late to start learning! Whatever level the student – beginner or advanced - Snow Summit’s skilled instructors will get him or her to the next level in a fun in a reliable and safe atmosphere. Snow Summit strives to cover its terrain with as much snow as they can! Guests can experience reliable, quality snow conditions every day of the season, regardless of natural snowfall and weather conditions.
During the summer months, Snow Summit transforms one of its high-speed quads into the Scenic Sky Chair by significantly reducing the speed. This is a wonderful way to enjoy the natural beauty of Big Bear Lake and the surrounding area. The Chair takes about 15 minutes to transport guests from the base elevation of 7,000 feet to a summit elevation of 8,200 feet. Once at the top, you can hike around then ride back down, hike down or if you're feeling adventurous, you can mountain bike down!

Stop in and demo a pair of skis – Blizzard, K2 and Dynastar are true, expert skis and available to you and your guests. Goldsmith’s standard skis and equipment. They are a full service rental shop – including clothing, safety equipment, snow shoe rentals and expert boot fitting service. This local board house is located just around the corner from both ski resorts, and their expert staff will guide you to the proper equipment for you.
