2026 Earth Month Events:

🌿 Earth Day Expo 📅 Friday, May 15th, 2026 Join the Annual Earth Day Expo at BVES headquarters in partnership with the City of Big Bear Lake Department of Water and Power. Nearly 20 local organizations come together for a day of learning, community engagement, and fun. Attendees receive free giveaways plus hot dogs and snacks while supplies last!

🌿 Climate & Cocktails 📅 Saturday, April 25th, 2026 Clean up the environment and then enjoy a cocktail on us! Join Care for Big Bear on the trails, along the shoreline, in parks, and throughout neighborhoods to collect trash and clean our beautiful mountain community. Afterward, kick back at a local eatery and enjoy a complimentary cocktail, mocktail, or beverage while mingling with fellow climate heroes.

🌿 Green Thumbs — Forest Restoration Volunteers 📅 Saturday, April 25th, 2026 Make a direct impact through hands-on conservation work in Big Bear! Volunteers collect native seed, plant native trees and plants, support Forest Service nurseries, weed and water restoration sites, and help clean up trash and graffiti throughout the Big Bear valley.
