Same day reservations are not guaranteed a 4 pm check in.

Just contact the office and we will be at your service, even after hours for emergencies (for power or water issues).

  • Is there an age restriction when booking a Vacation Rental?

Yes. 21 and over with a valid ID and Credit Card. We will deny anyone under the age of 21 at check-in.

  • Can I bring my pet with me to Big Bear?

Yes. Pets are welcome in most Big Bear resort cabins for a small additional charge of $30 per pet per night. When booking your reservation, make sure the house or cabin you’re booking allows pets. If booking online, narrow your search to pet-friendly homes by checking the “Pets Allowed” button. There is a $250 fee for any pet damage caused during your stay.

  • Do I need to bring my own kitchen utensils?

Depends on how elaborate you want to be. The kitchen will have at least the essential items to cook and eat a meal. That includes plates, cups, cutlery, pots and pans. Beyond the basics, the kitchens are stocked differently depending on the home. If you require specialty items to cook with, we recommend you bring them along. You may also want to bring paper towels, dish soap, aluminum foil, storage containers and plastic baggies.

  • Do I need to bring my own linens or towels?

Not really. Each home has a different setup but all rentals are fully equipped with fresh linens for every bed. We also provide clean towels, washcloths, hand towels and bath mats in each bathroom. In winter, we recommend bringing extra blankets to stay plenty warm, especially if you’re not used to cold mountain nights.

  • Will I have any chores?

Because of the presence of mountain critters, we do ask all of our guests to please make sure the dishes are cleaned before departure and that all trash is removed from our Big Bear resort cabins and taken to the Clean Bear Site – we give you a map.
