At Big Bear Vacations it is our goal to provide you with unparalleled service for an unforgettable stay. Because of this, guest’s reservations 30 days or less from the arrival date (45 days for holidays) are non-refundable after 24 hours of booking, and a cancelation fee of $75 or 10% of the reservation amount (whichever is greater) will be applied. After 24 hours of booking you will be unable to switch to any other properties or dates. However, reservations canceled within 30 days of the arrival date will receive a Rain Check valid for six months if all dates canceled are rebooked. Big Bear Vacations does not offer refunds due to any circumstances outside our control including but not limited to: weather/ road conditions, acts of nature, mechanical/ electrical failure or malfunctions with spas, TV’s or other equipment or sighting of insects/ rodents. We do however, reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if your property is made unavailable for ANY reason.
The guest whose name appears on the credit card charged for your reservation MUST BE PRESENT with valid photo ID at the time of check-in. If original credit card is not available we may switch the charge onto a different card with an administrative fee of 4.62%.
Each property is licensed to accommodate a maximum number of guests, day and night. It is illegal to over occupy any property, which is why you will be expelled from the premises with no refund if caught doing so.
Many of our homes are pet friendly, but there is a pet fee of $20 per pet, per night in those homes.
All holds are refundable within 24 hours of calling, however any cancellation after this period will not be refunded.
Cleaning fees are not optional and nonrefundable. Guests are responsible for trash removal and washing any dishes.
A damage waiver is not optional and nonrefundable; guests may, however, put a security deposit down in place of a damage waiver which covers accidental reported damage (minimum $1000.00 security deposit). The security deposit will be refunded 21 days after departure date if no damage occurred.
Travel Insurance must be added to a reservation before final payment is made. Guests may remove travel insurance within 10 days of its being put into a reservation. After 10 days, however, travel insurance is nonrefundable.
Due to the high volume of guests, there are early check-in and late checkout fees. All early check-ins and late check-outs must be made the day of your party’s arrival/departure.
