About This Event
When Olympian marathoner Ryan Hall began his career as a runner, it all started here in Big Bear Lake. Ryan incorporated weekly 1-mile timed runs up “The Wall” – the steepest ski slope at Snow Summit. Today, the Big Bear High School cross country team still uses this route every summer for their training, hoping to reach the bar Ryan Hall set so many years ago. And now, FOUR State Cross Country Champions later… it seems to be working.
