Welcome to The Spa at Winterset, one of Big Bear’s finest custom luxury homes located in the prestigious Heavenly Estates––within walking distance of Snow Summit and a five-minute drive to Bear Mountain! This custom home is an entertainer's dream that pulls out all the stops. This quiet, neighborhood-like home is tucked away from the busy Big Bear Blvd traffic. The flat topography with almost no cars invites you to walk amongst the pines morning, noon, and night––with coffee or wine in hand. No need to bother with cars, chains, or car seats when everything is within walking distance. The downstairs living room is an entertainment wonderland with a massive cloud couch with ottomans at every seat––it’s basically a giant human dog bed! There’s no sitting on this couch––it demands full lounging with no feet touching the floor. Relax all day watching movies or sports on the large flat screen smart TV with complimentary Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+.
The expansive gourmet kitchen and dining area flow seamlessly into the living room with a breakfast bar in between, creating a cozy great room feel. With an extended farmhouse dining table for eight and a breakfast bar for four, there’s ample room for daily dining and evening game nights. The spacious and thoughtful layout of this kitchen affords enough room so no one’s bumping elbows. And don't worry, everything you need to cook is already there from pots and pans to baking dishes and flatware. Some fun gadgets like a crock pot and blender are also available. There’s also a covered back deck adorned with café lights off the dining room with a table for eight with a grill and Traeger smoker for outdoor entertaining. The wet bar is connected to the living room and the grotto through a fun pop-up window for in-spa ordering. With a bar sink, wine fridge, cocktail shaker, shot glasses, and beer steins, you have everything you need for custom orders. Whether you’re lounging on the couch or catching bubbles in the spa, you never have to move! Just place your order with your bartender friend.
The upstairs loft level above the living room comes complete with a pool table, two small bar TVs for game watching, and a remote working station to hammer out some quick Zoom calls so you don’t have to take PTO for the day. Both upstairs bedroom suites meet in the middle at the pool table. The Multi-family room on the right is designed for hanging out with bean bags, smart TV, Nintendo, kids playroom, and two triple bunks for maximum sleeping space. The playroom is nothing shy of a toy store! Literally, drop your suitcases at the door and watch the kids disappear! From race cars, army men, and drones to barbies, a play kitchen, and puzzles––you won’t hear, “I’m bored,” until you hit the road home.
