It’s that time of year again for tricks, treats, and tunes! Halloween in the Village, presented by the City of Big Bear Lake, offers a safe space for families with children to trick-or-treat. People of all ages and well-behaved dogs can dress up in their best costumes. Then, everyone can rock out at a free concert.
Enter your pup in the dog costume contest for a chance to win pawsome prizes and bragging rights!
Halloween Schedule
4 – 7 PM: Trick-or-Treating
4 PM: Dog Costume Contest at Oliver’s Emporium
6 – 7:30 PM: Free Concert
Trick-or-Treating in The Village
Trick-or-treating runs from 4 to 7 PM in The Village. Kids can fill their bags while families enjoy the festive atmosphere. Restaurants and shops in The Village are close by for a snack or a warm drink along the way.
Dog Costume Contest
The dog costume contest starts at 4 PM at Oliver’s Emporium. Dress your pup in a creative costume and enter for a chance to win prizes. Only well-behaved dogs can join, so keep your dog on a leash and bring some water.
Free Concert
The free concert runs from 6 to 7:30 PM. Wear your costume, and bring your friends and family. It’s a fun way to end the evening at Halloween in the Village.
Tips for Halloween in the Village
Bundle up, because Big Bear evenings get chilly at the end of October. Wear comfortable shoes for walking around The Village. Arrive early to find parking, and plan to stay for the whole evening.
