Important: Traffic Plan & Personal Fireworks Ban
The City of Big Bear Lake implements a strict post-fireworks traffic plan. From the Dam to Division Road, only right-hand turns are permitted onto Big Bear Boulevard at the conclusion of the show. Consider using a local ride service like Jazzy Bear, Pinnacle Ride Services, or the free Big Bear Trolley.
Personal fireworks are illegal throughout Big Bear Valley and all unincorporated San Bernardino County areas — including “safe and sane” fireworks. With our pine forests and seasonal fire conditions, leave the fireworks to the professionals. Report illegal fireworks to local authorities.
Campfires are only permitted in developed campgrounds and Yellow Post Sites with provided fire rings. Building a fire outside designated areas is a federal offense.
