Myles and Jazmin met in 2021. The year prior to the two meeting, Myles moved to Salt Lake City from Chicago. 3 weeks prior to meeting, Jazmin moved to Salt Lake City from Fullerton. Without knowing each other they had both relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah for work.
A belief from East Asian mythology called the Red String Theory, believes that people who are destined to be present in each other’s lives are connected by a red string, and life will bring them to meet again despite time, circumstance, or distance. Some people call it a coincidence and say that the world is small, but I can’t help but think that we’re all connected.
Friday, April 30th, 2021, marks the day their red strings finally connected. They met up for dinner and drinks at Cheers 2 U in downtown SLC. That day was the beginning of their paths fusing together creating a life filled of friendship, joy, and love together. As their red string became woven together and their relationship developed, they adopted a senior dog, bought a house, and began traveling the world together.
In March of 2024 Myles proposed to Jazmin in the home they built together with their dog Hank present to celebrate the moment with them. Now all of their friends and family are brought together to watch these two get married on August 30th, 2025 at Shay Meadows Ranch in Big Bear, CA.
