Goldsmith Race Series
Thousands of people visit Big Bear each year for the incredible skiing found on the mountain. The Goldsmith Race Series allows professional and amateur skiers to try their best at racing down the mountain in an exhilarating showcase of speed and talent. Professional and amateur divisions are split, so if you choose to join the races, you will not be facing someone completely out of your league. Make sure to catch this exciting event on January 19th from 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM, then stick around for the award ceremony!
Big Bear Bowl V
While we all regret having the football season come to an end, it does make way for an exciting Super Bowl weekend. The Big Bear Bowl will be taking place again during the early 2020 season for a day full of incredible competition. Teams will compete in exciting contests such as speed relays, field goal kicks, and tire tosses. Of course, you will not be competing for the sake of competition alone; you will be able to win incredible prizes that include $1,000 in cash, four 2020/2021 summit mountain passes, and VIP tickets to the Super Bowl Viewing Party taking place the next day. Make sure you do not miss out on this exciting event taking place on February 1st from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Supergirl Snow Pro
If you have not noticed by now, this time of year is full of skiing and snowboarding events. Snowboarding is not just a man’s sport, as the ladies enjoy it just as much as anyone. The annual Supergirl Snow Pro will be bringing around some of the top female boarders to teach a new generation of young women how to step up and be the best around. This year’s event will feature 10-time X Games snowboard cross champion Lindsey Jacobellis to host the festivities. Make sure to participate in this year’s Supergirl Snow Pro, taking place on February 22nd at 10:00 AM.
