If you are looking for a warm and rustic restaurant where you can find your favorite American dishes, you need to dine in at Oakside. This spacious local establishment features indoor and outdoor seating, letting you enjoy the beautiful Big Bear temperatures. Oakside not only features delicious food but a healthy array of craft beer, wine, and handmade cocktails. Stick around on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy some live music on the outdoor patio. Oakside is open from 11:00am to 11:00pm daily and reservations are typically not needed.
The Bone Yard Bar & Grill
For a relaxing atmosphere and the best craft beer selection in town there is nowhere better than The Bone Yard Bar & Grill. Many locals find the restaurant to be a dining museum with classic memorabilia hung along the walls. Choose from a wide selection of starters, salads, and entrees that are sure to satisfy any craving. Many locals recommend trying out the seafood options including the smoked or grilled tuna and ahi selections. The Bone Yard Bar & Grill is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00am to 10:00pm, and Sundays from 9:30am to 9:00pm for that weekend brunch.
The Pines Lakefront
Not all of our newest favorite restaurants in town feature casual fare. For a fine dining experience like no other, we recommend checking out The Pines Lakefront. This lakeside restaurant has everything you expect for a fine dining yet delicious meal including grilled to order steak, handmade pasta, and more. Complete any meal with your favorite vintage bottle from the extensive wine selection. The Pines Lakefront is open Wednesday through Friday from 12:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00am to 8:00pm.
